• The hot forging process is the most common method in forming technologies. durability of tools has an effect on total cost up to 30%. Identification current failures mechanisms can assist select suitable treatment method. Treatment methods prolong life cycle tools. This article presents a critical overview failure and applied improve surface integrity die used process. knowledge from this study enables longer mean times between cost-effective processes. In literature, several independent review works have been developed provide conceptual methods.
